Every LA County mayor at one table
Where they stand

Supports
A standing coalition of mayors from every city in LA County where people film, able to act together quickly on production issues.
What’s the problem?
A production can cross half a dozen cities in a week, and each one has its own rules, fees and timelines. When one city fixes something, the others rarely hear about it.
The fix
Los Angeles, Burbank, Santa Monica, Culver City, Long Beach, Beverly Hills, Pasadena, West Hollywood and every other city where we film meet regularly, act together on film issues, and copy what works, like Santa Clarita’s permit process.
How would it affect me?
If you’re a location manager
Fewer surprises when a shoot crosses city lines.
If you run a city
Borrow what’s already working next door instead of starting from scratch.
If you live here
Your city gets a say in a regional plan to bring work back.
In plain English
Adopting this means
- Regular meetings of LA County mayors on film
- Shared playbooks for permits and incentives
It doesn’t mean
- Taking permitting power away from individual cities
